There are 2 specific Alerts & Conditions listed on the site for Joshua Tree National Park:

  1. Cholla Cactus Garden Trail is closed The Cholla Cactus Garden trail is closed until late spring, so that park staff can improve trail conditions.
  2. 49 Palms Trail is closed on weekdays so that park staff can repair rain damage. The trail is open on weekends.
